Mid-Autumn Festival Reunion, One World One Family
Before the Mid-autumn Festival on 13th Sep., the activity which topic is “Mid-Autumn Festival Reunion, One World One Family” was held in the Botanical Garden in Bohai University. The teachers of Bohai, the students from different countries like Burundi, Hungary, Madagascar, France, Pakistan, Garner, in total more than 100 international students got together to celebrate the traditional Chinese festival.
The teachers from the College of International Exchange, in order to echo the topic of “Mid-Autumn Festival Reunion, One World One Family “, collected classical festival stories, and also invited the Manchu paper cutting representative inheritors Professor Lin Xinyu and famous calligrapher to impart the skills. Meanwhile, the college also prepared traditional mooncakes, western refreshments and fruits for teachers and students.
The activity got a warm atmosphere, the international students were deeply attracted by the festival culture, and they told the custom of their own countries separately, the scholarship students also performed the with African style dance and Chinese Kung Fu, Burundi students brought a nice traditional rap, Korean students performed a dance ebullience as well. Also some students performed some programs they just learnt from the activity, they sang a very famous traditional Chinese song with the melody of Guzheng.
This activity not only spread the Chinese traditional culture, showing the Chinese College of hospitality, let students feel the festive atmosphere and culture of the Mid Autumn Festival, but also shortened the distance between Chinese and foreign university students, enhance mutual friendship as well.
